Director Search Requirements

  • Strong production and set design capabilities that telegraph spaces that feel real and lived in to tell a deeper patient story. With these quick-cut scenes, the set dressings will help showcase who these people are and add more detail to their journey with ISM.

  • Lighting, casting, and set dressing that feels relatable and authentic so that primary characters feel like real people. We want to avoid anything that feels overly stylized or produced so that these read as real patients.

  • Lighting and framing should feel cinematic and visually engaging with depth, texture, and props but shouldn’t feel too dark or overly bright.

  • We want a director who can bring a POV/production approach to incorporating numbers into the scene, capturing dynamic angles that best tell the story, and ensuring patients feel real through casting and propping.

  • We want to avoid directors that lean into what we often regard as “typical pharma” with bright lighting, high saturation colors, minimally dressed sets, and footage that feels staged or over-acted
